The Therapist Behind Curious Counseling
Life can feel overwhelming when your body, relationships, or sense of self no longer seem familiar.
I help individuals and couples navigate chronic illness, relationship challenges, and intimacy concerns while reconnecting with themselves and the people they love.
Hi, I'm Kaley Blair, MA, MFTC
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own experience living with chronic pain and years of unanswered questions.
I know what it's like to feel frustrated by your body, exhausted from advocating for yourself, and overwhelmed by the impact illness can have on your relationships and sense of self.
Living with chronic illness taught me that living well isn't always about finding answers. Sometimes it's about learning how to approach yourself with more compassion, flexibility, and curiosity.
A Collaborative Approach to Therapy
As a relational therapist, I believe you are the expert of your life.
My role isn't to tell you who to be or what to do. It's to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, communicate your needs, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-trust.
My work is rooted in a holistic, relationship-centered approach that considers the connection between emotional, physical, and relational well-being.
When I'm not in the therapy room, you'll usually find me with my family, reading, creating something crafty, playing board games with friends, or planning my next Disneyland adventure.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including:
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
The Gottman Method
Attachment-Based Therapy
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Compassion-Focused Therapy
This Is Not About Becoming Someone New.
Chronic illness, relationship challenges, and life's unexpected turns can change many things. They do not take away your capacity for connection, growth, joy, or meaningful relationships.
Therapy can help you reconnect with those parts of yourself again.
